Outside volumes I and II are pocket sized, handmade books filled with art. In music, there’s a concept I’ve always loved, which is when you're playing outside the chord structure using notes, forms and patterns uncommon to the changes, to express your thoughts. These books’ title are derived from that term. The contents of these small books are meditations and inventions on known structures.
